Our Alumni

We have advised students from a wide range of disciplines (computer science, electrical engineering, music, neural science) and across many education levels (undergraduate, masters, PhD students). Here are some of our previous concerts contributed by these passionate talents.

PhD Student

Hengguan HUANG (2023). Hengguan has defended his PhD Thesis entitled Brain-informed Artificial Intelligence: Random Graphs, Dynamical Systems and Beyond.
Yixin WANG (2023). Yixin has been a visiting PhD student to our lab in the last year and has now returned to Xi'an Jiaotong University to accomplish her Thesis. We extend our best wishes to Yixin and her future career.
Wei WEI (2022). Wei defended his PhD Thesis entitled Acoustic Event Recognition: from Supervised Learning to Unsupervised Learning. He is now leading a new career at PSA Singapore.

Master Student

Yuchen WANG (2023). Yuchen defended her MComp Thesis entitled Symbolic Music Generation from Graph-Learning-Based Preference Modeling and Textual Queries. She will join NTU for a PhD since Spring 2024.
Danielle ONG (2022). Danielle completed her MComp capstone project and has secured a job opportunity.
Xiao LIU (2022). Xiao defended his MComp Thesis entitled Robust Melody Track Identification in Symbolic Music. He is now working at A*STAR as a researcher.
