At NUS Sound and Music Computing (SMC) Lab, innovation doesn't always sound like code — sometimes, it sounds like music. The Sound & Music Computing for Human Health & Potential (SMC4HHP) Seminar & Concert 2025 brought together students, staff, and friends of SMC Lab and School of Computing (SoC) for an inspiring afternoon where technology met artistry — and algorithms met emotion.

From a seminar on human voice production by South Korean performer MinJee Kim, to student performances spanning classical, jazz, soft rock, and traditional music, the event showcased how computing can amplify creativity and connection. Now in its fourth year, this initiative — led by Prof. Ye Wang and the SMC Lab, and supported by SoC Student Life — continues to remind us that behind every system and signal lies something profoundly human.
